How to crochet stripes:

When you make striped beanie using single crochet stitches you need to start every row with CH 1 and finish every row with a slip stitch. The Crochet Striped Beanie Pattern uses 1x1 stripes pattern which means you change the yarn color every row. You can change yarn every 2 or even every 3 rows - it depends on how wide do you want the stripes. Do not cut off the yarn after finishing each stripe, just change colors crossing the yarns in the back (inside) of your hat.
