The approximate size of monkey crochet potholders is 5 1/2 in (14 cm) in diameter if used recommended crochet hook size.

Recommended weight yarn: Medium to worsted weight

Recommended crochet hook size:H 8 (5.0 mm) I 9 (5.5 mm) - it is smaller then recommended for this yarn weight but crocheted fabric should be dense for potholders.

Gauge: 18 SC in 4 in (10 cm), 17 rows in 4 in (10 cm)
