Crochet Flower Bun Cover

Flower Bun Cover can be done in solid color or in 2 colors - you choose it! Ties around the bun help to keep it on and add a cute little bow.

The level: beginner to intermediate

Recommended yarn: medium weight or worsted weight (weight category #4). I used Red Heart Super Saver.

Recommended crochet hook: I9/5.5 mm or J10/6.00 mm

Stitches and abbreviations used: CH - chain, SC - single crochet, DC - double crochet, slip stitch.

Daisy flower for the flower bun cover is ready. If you make the cover in two colors, attach the white yarn to the top of a petal. If you make it in one color - use slip stitches to get to the top of a petal.

Row #1: [CH 5, slip stitch in to the top of the next petal]. Repeat [ ] 6 times for 6 petals. You will have 6 arcs. To start the next row make 3 slip stitches along the first arc of this row: you should be at the 3rd stitch of the arc.

Row #2: [CH 7, slip stitch in to the top of the next arc of the previous row]. Repeat [ ] 6 times for 6 arcs. To start the next row make 4 slip stitches along the first arc of this row: you should be at the 4th stitch of the arc.

Row #3: [CH 5, slip stitch in the center of the next arc of the Row #2]. Repeat [ ] 5 more times.

Row #4: [CH 3, slip stitch in the 3rd stitch from the hook (skip 2 stitches)]. Repeat [ ] all along the row.

The tie: make a chain approximately 20 in (50 cm) long. Tie the knots at both ends.

Weave in the tie between Row #3 and Row #4.
