Flower Crochet Necklace.

You can use this free crochet pattern to make a crochet necklace as well as a crochet bracelet. (You can even make a headband for the baby girl!) The level of the pattern is intermediate. The necklace has back ties, but you can attach a jewelry lock instead. The Flower Necklace looks simple and pretty, you can make more then 5 flowers i did, and you can make the matching bracelet using this free crochet pattern - just make 3 flowers instead of 5 :)

The approximate size of a flower is 1 1/4 in (3.3 cm).

Recommended yarn: medium weight or worsted weight (weight category #4). I used Red Heart Super Saver.

Recommended crochet hook: I9/5.5 mm or J10/6.00 mm

Stitches and abbreviations used: CH - chain, SC - single crochet, slip stitch.

CH 25 (that would be the first tie), slip stitch in the 3rd stitch from the hook (that would be the center of the first flower).

Step 1: CH 3

Step 2: Slip stitch in the center of the flower - the first petal is ready :)

Step 3: CH 3

Step 4: Slip stitch in the center of the flower, (the second petal), CH 3

Step 5: Slip stitch in the center of the flower, the third petal is ready :)

Step 6: Continue on the other side of the tie: CH 3.

Step 7: Slip stitch in the center of the flower for the fourth petal.

Step 8: CH 3

Step 9: Slip stitch in the center of the flower, the 5th petal is ready.

Step 10: CH 3, slip stitch in the center for the 6th petal.

CH 8 and make a slip stitch in the 3rd from the hook stitch (that would be the center of the 2nd flower).

Repeat Steps 1-10 for the second flower.

Make 5 flowers and after you finish the 5th flower, make CH 25 for the second tie. Make knots at the ends of the ties. The Flower Crochet Necklace is ready! :)
